The Parachutist staff has uncovered a lot in the six months we’ve put together this pictorial series. While it’s generally preferable to know the details of a photo so that we can caption it accordingly, that hasn’t always been possible here. We’ve found some of the best shots on archive room shelves and long-defunct websites, or from questionable characters in dimly lit alleyways. We don’t always know the stories behind them.
