On April 2, the International Skydiving Museum and Hall of Fame announced that Marylou Laughlin and Gill Rayner have joined its board of trustees. Laughlin, a longtime skydiving judge, served on the USPA Board of Directors from 1999-2013. She currently serves on the museum’s development and marketing committees. Rayner is the recently elected president of the International Parachuting Commission. Both women have long resumes in the sport and in international competition. They bring this experience to the museum, whose purpose is to “recognize and promote the sport of skydiving through public education and awareness; recognize the contribution to skydiving by its participants, suppliers and supporters; capture forever the history of the sport through its events, equipment and personalities; and enhance aviation safety as it pertains to skydiving.” More information about the museum and its projects is available at skydivingmuseum.org.
