In January, AXIS Flight School announced the release of a new app following three years of development in partnership with Good Goblin Games. The AXIS Flight School App contains educational tools; reserve-repack-cycle, exit-separation and canopy-size calculators; and competition tools such as a draw generator and timer. In the app, Woody, an animated and interactive figurine, helps demonstrate body-flight and canopy-piloting concepts. AXIS remarked that the app is “great for novice jumpers who wish to learn more and a fantastic tool for coaches who need visuals for their students.” The app is available in the iTunes Store and Google Play.
