On February 23, Jane Haynes celebrated her 100th birthday at Skydive Arizona in Eloy by making a tandem skydive (as did her daughter and granddaughter). Haynes already led a thrilling life by participating in adventures like whitewater rafting and hiking the Grand Canyon, both of which she did after age 60. Her tandem instructor, Scott Wood, said, “She is an amazing woman and an inspiration.” Will Jane jump again next year? Well … she said she is looking at trying something new for her 101st birthday!
