Skydive Puerto Rico in Arecibo, a two-year-old USPA Foreign Affiliate DZ, hosted the island’s first USPA Coach Rating Course in April. Coach Examiner Karin Anzures, co-manager of the drop zone (with Ernesto Diaz), conducted the course. The DZ, which flies a Cessna 182 from May to October and a PAC 750 from November to April, was thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity, especially after the island’s struggle following Hurricane Maria. Carlos Concepción, Jonathan Engel, Carlos Medina, Karin Montaño, Carlos Serrano and David Vega are proud to be the first coaches certified in Puerto Rico.
