Jumpers Set POPS Sequential World Record

On October 8 at Skydive Perris in California, Team Elite organizer Guy Wright put together a 33-way formation skydive that broke the Parachutists Over Phorty Society World Record for Largest Four-Point Formation Skydive. The jumpers achieved the record on their third attempt. The record holders are Andy Anderson, Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld, Mathieu Belanger, Robert Compton, David Dow, Jerry Elliott, Rick Epp, Boz Eralp, Ted Farnsworth, Kramer Fay, Mark Fosbury, Terje Frydenlund, Olvind Godager, Larenda Graham, Sandy Holland, Lee McMillian, William McMurry, Mika Miettinen, George Nisson, Linnea Norby, Bernardus Nordkamp, Kurt Henrik Olsen, Celine Pelletier, Douglas Pinkham, Rick Poplinger, Artur Romanczuk, Pete Scharrer, Mark Schrag, David Schrager, Aage Sorensen, Jean Szkaradek, Mary Tortomasi and Guy Wright. George Katsoulis flew video for the group. After the team set the record on the first day of the event, Wright put together more of his complex and fun sequential formations for the participants to complete in the following days.
