At Skydive Carolina in Chester, South Carolina, Sisters in Skydiving members Amy Milhorne and Christina Horner added a new activity to the drop zone’s SIS events: Dive-Flow Bingo! The idea came to the pair while brainstorming for a way to create a season-long interaction with SIS members instead of just a stand-alone event. Participants work over the course of the season to complete tasks listed on their bingo cards, which make them eligible for prizes during the DZ’s SIS event in September. The tasks are a mix of skill-, safety- and community-focused activities that give less-experienced or new-to-the-DZ folks an opportunity to interact, jump and socialize with veteran jumpers.
