Modern Skydiving Concepts Launches

USPA Staff

Sharon Har-Noy Pilcher and Luis Prinetto—who have 38 years in the sport and more than 26,000 jumps between them—recently founded Modern Skydiving Concepts to provide skydiving information and programs to jumpers who don’t have easy access to the knowledge that is available. The company offers a variety of programs geared toward skydivers of all skill levels, from AFF graduates to coaches, organizers and instructors. The program’s goal is to fill in gaps in jumpers’ knowledge of fundamental concepts and increase implementation of safe and efficient principles for skydivers and skydiving operations.

One of their flagship programs is a two-day workshop about leading and participating in movement jumps, which gives attendees the tools they need to make informed decisions. This workshop provides a platform for experienced angle flyers to share thoughts, answer questions and improve their overall skydiving skills. It includes classroom theory and a chance for the participants to practice what they’ve learned by planning and leading a jump. Those who simply want to learn more about movement jumps but don’t feel ready to lead a jump are still welcome to participate.

In addition to their current programs, Pilcher and Prinetto will soon offer courses and safety seminars for load organizers and experienced jumpers, as well as recently licensed jumpers. They also offer consulting services for DZs and event organizers regarding operations and dealing with the constant changes in the sport. Jumpers can find out more information by emailing Prinetto at Luis@teamfly4life.com or Pilcher at sharonchon@hotmail.com or by visiting the group’s Facebook page.
