On February 3 at Skydive Arizona in Eloy, 18 jumpers set two Skydivers Over Sixty state records, one of which also qualified as a Parachutists Over Phorty Society record. Carol Jones and Steve Woodford organized the event, which more than 40 SOS members attended. William Anderson, Richard Baynton, Robert Compton, Tom Corl, Bill Fridberg, Jerry Gleim, Gary Greer, Lew Hart, Alice Hicks, John Hicks, Stan Kay, David Robinson, Craig Seasly, Perry Stone, Butch Van Lewis, Ed VanDerPas, Kevin Vetter and Steve Woodford first set an Arizona SOS Record for Largest Two-Point Formation Skydive and on the next jump went back up and set the Arizona SOS and POPS Record for Largest Three-Point Formation Skydive.
