On the weekend of July 28-29, jumpers at Skydive Suffolk in Virginia worked to set head-down and head-up state records. On Saturday, Sara Curtis, Steve Curtis, Reinaldo Rey Duarte, Eugen Goriounov, Jason Johnson, Rachel Newcomb, Scott Owen and Nick Sortino set the Virginia Record for Largest Four-Point Head-Down Formation Skydive with an 8-way. Then on Sunday, Sara Curtis, Steve Curtis, Duarte, Goriounov, Johnson and Cameron McMahon set a second record, the Virginia Record for Largest Nine-Point Head-Up Formation Skydive with a 6-way. Camera flyer Edward Heady documented both jumps, and Chris Wagner was the chief judge.
