USPA and other agencies are continuing to work closely with the Hawaii DOT and the Army on a possible joint-use agreement and lease for Dillingam (Kawaihapai) Airfield. An official update is expected by early May. This article, by the Honolulu Star Advertiser, provides information about the progress the parties have made in keeping the airfield’s 11 businesses open.
