Keep an Eye Out | Brake-Line Terminal Knots

The student jumping this gear experienced a locked toggle due to the knot on the end of the brake line being under the brake line between the stowed toggle and guide ring. He could not unstow the toggle when tension was applied to the brake line after opening.

The terminal end of brake lines should be finger trapped back onto the brake line to prevent this malfunction. With the right tools, it is a simple and easy task you can perform with your rigger. It might just save you a cutaway.
