World Skydiving Day 2025 — The Final Count Is In!

What an incredible day! On Saturday, July 12th, skydivers from around the globe took to the skies to celebrate our sport and community. We are proud to announce that 26,718 skydives were completed and officially reported for World Skydiving Day 2025!

While we didn’t break the current record of 30,351 skydives, we were blown away by the turnout, the energy, and the global participation that made this day truly special.

Skydivers in Angola, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Guatemala, India, Israel, Kenya, Luxembourg, Mexico, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Serbia and the United States all contributed to this worldwide celebration.

“Even in a world currently facing many challenges, World Skydiving Day was a bright reminder of what brings us together. From every corner of the globe, people joined in celebration of our shared love for skydiving and the vibrant, welcoming community that surrounds it. The unity and joy we saw on this day is exactly what makes our sport so special.” — Albert Berchtold, Executive Director, United States Parachute Association

Thank you to every jumper, drop zone, and organizer who helped bring this vision to life. The skydiving community proved once again that we are bold, passionate, and connected—no matter the distance.

We’re already looking forward to next year. Let’s come back stronger in 2026 and take another shot at the record—together.
