After nearly 30 years as a skydiving equipment retailer, Square One passed the torch for retail sales to a new company, Gold State Gear. The veteran-owned-and-operated company opened its corporate office at Skydive Perris in California on June 22 and launched its website, goldstategear.com, on August 1. Square One is stepping away from the retail skydiving market and will focus solely on manufacturing goods such as helmets, hardware, closing pins, hook knives and a variety of other accessories.
