USPA Seeks New Pacific Regional Director

The USPA Board of Directors is seeking a USPA member from the Pacific Region to fill a vacancy on the board. Incumbent Brett Martin moved out of the region and resigned his seat. USPA will conduct a special election among members in the Pacific Region to fill the remainder of the Pacific Regional Director’s term, which extends through 2021.

USPA members in good standing who currently reside in the Pacific Region—comprised of parts of Central and Northern California and Nevada and all of Hawaii—are eligible for the position. You must also be at least 18 years of age, be a current USPA member and have at least two years of cumulative USPA membership. To be placed on the ballot, submit the required election materials and pay the $50 filing fee to USPA Headquarters online no later than 5:00 PM EDT, June 15, 2020. The following are required:

  • Completed Director Candidate Biography form
  • An acceptable photograph
  • A non-refundable $50 filing fee

The Director Candidate Biography form and photo must be completed and submitted electronically.

The special election period will run for one month only, from July 1 through July 31.

The election winner is expected to attend the USPA Board of Directors meeting set for September 18-20 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Duties of a USPA Regional Director are described in Section 1-4 of USPA's Governance Manual.
