Back-Tracking highlights interesting, lesser-known moments in skydiving through the years. These photos are often unearthed from boxes in the attic, old photo albums and dimly lit DZ closets. Please send submissions to communications@uspa.org.


In 1988, (from top) Ray Lallo, on a Voyager; Ken Willcox, on a Raven-3; Bobby Nixon, on a Marauder; and James Harrison, on a Delta Cloud; form a 4-stack in the sky over Laurinburg-Maxton in North Carolina. This jump was practice for the base of larger formations that would eventually set North Carolina and South Carolina state canopy formation records.
