British Skydiving Issues Safety Notice

USPA members intending to jump at drop zones in the United Kingdom should be aware of a recent Safety Notice issued by British Skydiving (BS) on April 10 as a result of a recent fatal incident. Aerodyne ICON containers are currently grounded at all BS-affiliated Parachute Training Organisations (PTOs).

USPA is in communication with British Skydiving and the Parachute Industry Association as the investigation into this incident continues. USPA will continue to engage with the relevant parties to better understand what occurred and will notify members as appropriate.

The initial safety notice is available here.
