USMC Veteran Jumps for Veterans Experiencing Homelessness

On September 14 at Skydive Philadelphia in Perkasie, Pennsyvlania, 90-year-old United States Marine Corps veteran Peter Juisto made a tandem skydive to raise money to help get homeless veterans off the streets. He made his first skydive in support of veterans at 80 years old and even got a tattoo on his right arm to commemorate it. He decided to make another jump for his 90th birthday although he had recently received a heart-valve transplant. After getting written approval from his physician, he triumphantly returned to the skies. Several local news crews were in attendance to cover the event.
