UPT to Receive FAI Group Diploma of Honor

The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (World Air Sports Federation) has selected United Parachute Technologies as the 2025 recipient of the FAI Group Diploma of Honour. The FAI presents this prestigious award “to recognize groups of people (design offices, scientific bodies, aeronautical publications, etc.) that have contributed significantly to the progress of aeronautics and astronautics during the previous year or years.”

USPA nominated UPT for the award for being “a driving force in advancing the safety, performance and accessibility of skydiving equipment worldwide” and forwarded the nomination to the National Aeronautic Association. In turn, the NAA selected them as the nominee for the United States and forwarded the nomination to the FAI.

USPA and the NAA will present the Group Diploma of Honor on behalf of the FAI on November 7 during the Affiliate Spotlight Hour during the International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame weekend in Lake Wales, Florida.
