November 30 marked the 50-year anniversary of this women’s world record 16-way star over the Arizona desert, completed by Charmian Cliff, Karen Collett, Pat Davis, Helen Fraser, Nancy Gruttman, Betty Hawkins, Linda Heath, Mary Holdredge, Ruth Lanier, Diane Marsh, Rolayne Mattsson, jeanni McCombs, Pat Pitcher, Donna Wardean, Patty Wickliffe, and Debra Zweifel.
