Fayards Named Honorary Golden Knights

On Saturday, December 4, the Golden Knights Alumni Association recognized Paul and Nancy Fayard’s contributions to the U.S. Army Parachute Team—particularly its demonstration and competition teams—by naming them Honorary Golden Knights. The couple, who lease aircraft to the skydiving industry and formerly owned a drop zone in Louisburg, North Carolina, have supported the Golden Knights for more than 50 years. The knighting ceremony—complete with a light blow to each shoulder with an Excalibur-style sword—took place at the annual Golden Knights Alumni Association Reunion in Raeford, North Carolina.
